While the headlines are focusing on frustrations related to small business loan relief delays, Washington Retail believes it is not too soon to consider smart ways to reboot even during this time of waiting and sheltering.

For this reason, we are offering a webinar for visionary business owners to consider “Tools to REBOOT your business NOW” at 11 a.m. on April 15. We have invited speakers from our national partners to speak on tools that complement governmental offerings.

Chris Eyler, Executive Director of the Northwest Region Congressional and Public Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will share tools that clarify COVID-related tax credits, loans and leave mandates from the federal government. Eyler will also share updates on the 4th COVID federal response negotiations in D.C.

Kate Fessler, the Rise Up Director of Outreach for the National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation, will introduce the RISE Up program. This career training program is developed by retailers offering stackable and transferrable job skills suitable for any trade/career. Through the end of June, the NRF is offering one of this program’s courses for free and a 50% discount for other courses. This offering meets a timely need for all students studying online.  For retailers who may be looking to upskill their workers using the Paycheck Protection Program, you would not want to miss this learning opportunity.

The economic environment will look very different when sheltering is over. A business reboot requires foresight and the time to plan is NOW. Register here today

We also encourage you to view our past two webinars with experts from the Employment Security Department and the Small Business Administration in our COVID Retailer Resource Guide.
