Labor & Industries has issued a detailed, nine-page directive to help essential companies understand how to conduct business during Gov. Jay Inslee’s Stay Home Stay Healthy order.
The directive provides enforcement policy when evaluating workplace implementation of social distancing, sanitation and sick employee practices as required under the Governor’s proclamation.
Washington Retail urges all employers to review the document to understand the state’s expectations and to take necessary steps to be in compliance with state requirements and avoid the potential for enforcement action. The directive is signed by Anne F. Soiza, L&I’s Assistant Director of the Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
