Starting on October 25, King County will require people to show proof of vaccination in the following settings:

• Outdoor events with 500 or more people (applies to ages 12 and above)
• Indoor recreational events or establishments
• Restaurants and bars

In addition, the State of Washington requires the wearing of masks at outdoor events with 500 or more people and all indoor public spaces.

The proof of vaccination requirements does not cover retail businesses, but the state’s indoor mask mandate does.
