One of Seattle’s oldest retailers, Ben Bridge Jewelers, is planning its new flagship store in the heart of Seattle in the O’Shea Building at 501 Pine Street. The store will be about a third larger than its previous flagship store, which stood for the past 94 years.

Ben Bridge has been undergoing a significant transformation over the past year, halving the number of its stores after selling all its franchise Pandora boutiques to the Danish jewelry brand’s original owners. With that sale and the sale of another of its stores to the Watches of Switzerland group, Ben Bridge has streamlined its retail locations from more than 80 stores last year to less than 40 today.

The business, owned by Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, is now leaner and well capitalized, according to CEO Lisa Bridge.
