The Washington Retail Board of Directors will be traveling from around the state and nation next week for a two-day retreat in Richland, Washington.
The board is comprised of a strategic mix of small, regional and corporate retailers representing a wide variety of retail trades. As the industry continues to transform, so does the need for leadership intent on stewarding the future and upholding our mission as the state’s exclusive retail association.
We are thrilled to welcome four new members who bring a breadth of experience, skills and influence to the Association’s leadership. New members joining the board include Al Cornish II, Target Corporation; Michelle Markus, Mud Bay; Andy Ryder, Shur-Kleen Car Wash and Theresa Threat, Ben Bridge Jeweler.
In addition to the association’s general business, the agenda will include a panel discussion with state Senator Sharon Brown and state Representatives Brad Klippert and Matt Boehnke, all from the 8th Legislative District.
The board will also hear from Carl Adrian, President & CEO of the Tri-City Development Council and Lori Mattson, President & CEO of the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce.
