Demand is high for the free Covid test kits offered by the State of Washington. The State partnered with Amazon to get test kits out to Washingtonians, opening the www.sayyescovidhometest.org on January 21. The State gave away its entire stock of 1.4 million test kits in the first eight hours. After securing additional kits, the State reopened its website on February 1. By 4 pm, the second stockpile of kits was depleted.
