The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic CARES Act allocated $350 billion for small businesses adversely affected by the pandemic to keep workers employed. The implementation procedures for this “Paycheck Protection Program” are now awaiting several federal agencies’ review and approval.
According to Kerrie Hurd, the Seattle District Director for the Small Business Administration, this program is very different from any prior SBA 7(a) loans. Hurd is looking to share the brand new procedures with our audience at the April 6 10am webinar next Monday.
Washington Retail wants to thank our partners at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for sharing an excellent infographic guide specific to this Paycheck Protection Program. This guide offers answers to key questions to help small businesses get ready before the SBA releases its implementation procedures.
