The campaign for President has possible candidates for Governor and state Attorney General weighing whether to run for the two top state offices.
Governor Jay Inslee is running for President but could still decide to run for a third term. If he does not try to remain in office in Olympia, state Attorney General Bob Ferguson might be interested in succeeding Inslee, according to a speculative piece in Crosscut.
The speculation doesn’t end there, by any means. A reporter at the online site has put together a piece on all the possible candidates who might be interested in running for higher state office next year.
