Times examines whether crime, cost of living will affect Council elections

As Seattle grows and prospers economically, homelessness has become an issue and police calls are on the rise in certain parts of the city. At the same time, the cost of living in Seattle has been rising.

In a lengthy piece this week, The Seattle Times weighs the issues facing the city and whether, or to what degree, they could sway the City Council elections this year including next Tuesday’s primary. One person commented that modern-day Seattle is “a tale of two cities.”
