Council President Lorena Gonzalez’s endorsements include the King County Labor Council, Bernie Sanders, and the Sierra Club, while former Councilmember Bruce Harrell is backed by most former mayors, former Gov. Gary Locke, and the Seattle Firefighters. And independent expenditure campaigns supporting the two candidates have each spent $1 million.
