Seattle’s Office of Labor Standards has begun a door-to-door campaign to provide additional education to retailers on the city’s newest labor laws.

OLS has dedicated two engagement specialists who visit with local businesses to raise awareness of new labor laws having to do with wages, leave policies, scheduling and various other worker rights.

“It is imperative that we help Seattle businesses understand the City’s labor laws before there is a problem,” said OLS Director Martin S. Garfinkel. “Along with our other existing outreach efforts, door-to-door outreach brings a personal touch that can help businesses understand legal obligations.”

If you are an employer and would like OLS to visit your business you can call 206-256-5297 or email [email protected]. You also can follow OLS on Facebook @SeattleLaborStandards and on Twitter @OLS_SEA.
