King County is hosting an Organized Retail Crime (ORC) roundtable at the Federal Way on August 4 at 10:00 am. Similar roundtable meetings have been held in cities throughout the state over the past few months, including Kent, Olympia, Puyallup, Bellingham, and others.

These regional ORC meetings have proved helpful to Washington state retailers as they grapple with the overwhelming volume of retail thefts and ORC events in their stores. Robert Nelson, LPC, President of Washington ORCA, will lead the roundtable discussions. Joining Robert will be loss prevention officers from large and small retailers in the area, business owners, law enforcement, and local prosecuting attorneys.
