The Legislature passed HB 1533 earlier this year mandating that all Washington State employers post a domestic violence resource poster in a visible place by other required employment posters. In addition, employers are required to provide the name or names of community resources regarding domestic violence in the designated space on this poster prepared by the Employment Security Department.

To make it easier for employers, using this resource by county page provided by the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence will take you to your local resource quickly. Or, you may also visit Washington State Domestic Violence Information & Referral to search for culturally/community specific or Tribal programs or to search by city.

Washington Retail’s goal is to share the most updated information to help make your compliance easier.
