Millions of qualified job candidates rejected due to automated hiring software

While businesses have voiced concern about unfilled job openings, a study published by Harvard Business Law sheds light on one possible connection.

According to the Harvard study, millions of candidates are often systematically rejected by Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software, used by three-quarters of US employers to filter candidates. ATS software works with Recruitment Management Software (RMS) used by over 90% of employers to save time and money when sorting and ranking candidates. The trouble is, qualified candidates are often excluded from consideration.
