The WR Local Government PAC Board has voted unanimously to endorse Jim Pugel for Seattle City Council position 7.

Pugel, born and raised in Seattle, is a retired law enforcement officer who will make an excellent addition to the Seattle City Council. While serving with Seattle police, he helped to create the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program where low-level offenders including those convicted of stealing from retailers can be diverted to treatment for mental health and/or substance addiction assistance. Retailers strongly support this program.

Pugel will also look for solutions to Seattle’s growing in-store violence problem that has forced some retailers to relocate or close.

Pugel is the right candidate at the right time for Seattle. Please remember to send in your ballot by November 5.
