A Seattle Police Department (SPD) investigation has determined that two off-duty Seattle officers, a married couple, trespassed on the U.S. Capitol grounds during the insurrection on January 6, also called the “Stop the Steal” rally. The SPD’s civilian-led Office of Police Accountability recommended the termination of both officers following their investigation.

Four additional SPD officers in attendance at the rally were investigated. While three were cleared of any illegal activity or misconduct, the investigation’s results regarding the fourth officer’s actions were inconclusive.

Here is a Seattle Times article on the investigation.
