Seattle’s fourth free COVID-19 testing site opened last week at the Chief Seattle High School Athletic Complex in West Seattle. It is a walk-up facility.
A West Seattle testing center may be important for uninsured residents whose transportation options are limited due to the closure of the West Seattle Bridge. The city is studying whether to repair or replace the bridge.
Clients are encouraged to register online for testing to keep wait times to 10 minutes or less. Individuals can sign up to be tested five days of the week. Hours across all sites are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
