Local business owners expressed relief as they saw a dramatically increased police presence in downtown Seattle’s Third and Pine area. The Seattle Police Department parked a mobile command center in the neighborhood and flooded the streets with additional police SUV patrols after a teenage boy became the second person killed there in a four-day period.
