Consumers will hunt for bargains this Easter

According to a recent survey, 80% of Americans will celebrate the Easter holiday and spend an estimated $20.8 billion in doing so.

Consumers are emerging from the pandemic with pent-up desires to meet up with family and friends. Just over half (51%) plan to celebrate in person, and food will account for their largest expenditure.

Inflation concerns will influence shoppers who are expected to seek the most value for their Easter holiday shopping, the bulk of which will be in brick-and-mortar stores rather than online.
