On par with last year, consumers are expected to spend $20 billion on Father’s Day gifts this year, similar to last year, despite worries of inflation.

According to a recent survey, the average Father’s Day-related expenditures will be just over $170 per consumer, with about three-quarters of U.S. adults celebrating the holiday.

Generally, consumers are continuing to trend toward gifts of experience that can create special memories. In addition to a Father’s Day meal at Dad’s favorite restaurant or a homecooked meal, consumers are seeking gifts that are unique and non-traditional.
