The nation’s largest e-waste collecting retailer, Best Buy, has launched a new program to pick up your old technology in its ongoing effort to protect the environment. The Standalone Haul-Away service costs $199 and subscribers of Best Buy’s Totaltech program save 20%.

For $199, Best Buy will haul away and recycle up to a total of 2 large products (including TVs, major appliances, all-in-one computers, and monitors), along with an unlimited number of select smaller products. While the pickup crew can take most types of tech, they can’t accept everything. Best Buy has posted a list of what they can and cannot pickup on its website.

The new Standalone Haul-Away service might be an excellent option for those who don’t have helpers and a truck to take used refrigerators or other large appliances to their local e-recycling center. Once picked up, all products are then responsibly and safely recycled.
