Safety in our stores and cracking down on organized retail theft is one of the highest priorities for the Washington Retail Association.

The City of Federal Way will be hosting a Retail Safety Summit Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at the City Hall Council Chambers, located at 33325 8th Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98003.

Meeting objectives: Partnerships with Federal Way and retailers, strategies to reduce organized retail crime and shoplifting, discussions with Mayor, Chief of Police, and City Prosecutor. Mark Johnson, Sr. VP of Policy & Government Affairs will be providing testimony at the summit.

Small, medium, and large retail business owners, managers, loss prevention, and asset protection team members.
