Seattle is attracting tourists at record levels, according to Visit Seattle, the destination marketing organization for the region.
Tourists to Seattle and King County in 2019 set a 10th consecutive annual record in the number of visitors and money spent. A total of 41.9 million visitors spent $8.1 billion here last year, much of it with retailers of many stripes.
The volume of travelers also boosted tourism-related jobs by 2.4%, to 80,317 last year.
