Home Depot has announced it is hiring 80,000 employees nationwide in advance of its peak spring sales season.
Many spring hires remain as regular employees. The company reports that more than 90% of store leadership started as hourly associates. The company offers a profit-sharing program for full-time and part-time employees, tuition assistance, 401k and a discounted stock purchase plan.
Many of the part-time positions will be assigned to the garden center. The company also is hiring for overnight freight, merchandising and customer service roles across store departments, including warehouse associates for its distribution centers.
