Amazon.com has nominated WR member Ravenox, an online rope and hardware company based in Mount Vernon, as its first Small Business of the Year. Ravenox founder and owner Sean Brownlee serves on WR’s Board of Directors.
Five other companies from across the nation are included as nominees in the competition.
This is Amazon’s first year of an annual competition also recognizing women-owned small businesses and those owned by people under the age of 30.
Washington Retail extends its congratulations to Brownlee and best wishes in the competition.
