May 29 SafePlace golf tournament supports survivor services

SafePlace will host its sixth annual Golf Tournament fundraiser on May 29 at Capitol City Golf Club in Olympia. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and includes practice balls, a golf cart, 18 holes of golf, and lunch for participants. Attendees can also enjoy food and raffle activities following the tournament.

SafePlace, a nonprofit organization established in 1981, provides support and advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The organization was formed through the merger of Rape Relief and Women’s Shelter Services and continues to focus on crisis intervention, education, and community support.
