WR members are invited to attend the grand opening of a new food waste processing facility in Longview on April 29, 2026, in recognition of Stop Food Waste Day.
Hosted by Divert, Inc., the event will celebrate the launch of its Integrated Diversion and Energy Facility, designed to support food retailers, manufacturers, and local jurisdictions in reducing food waste and meeting Washington’s organics management goals.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from speakers, participate in the official ribbon cutting, and tour the new facility.
