Washington Retail Association has announced two staffing promotions effective Sept. 14, reflecting expanded responsibilities in government affairs and member engagement.
Crystal Leatherman, previously Director of Policy & Government Affairs, has been promoted to Vice President of Government Affairs. Leatherman has overseen the association’s government affairs efforts during the past year, advocating policy issues affecting retailers across Washington.
Kathie Davies, previously Senior Executive Legislative Assistant, has been promoted to Director of Member Engagement. In her new role, Davies will continue to plan and execute association events while taking on expanded responsibility for serving as a primary resource for members. The position is intended to strengthen member engagement and provide a central point of contact for member needs and opportunities.
