Vulcan has released its plan to redevelop Chandler’s Cove, a 5-acre parcel on South Lake Union, into a premier retail and dining destination. The property will have a new name: Lake Union Piers.

The redevelopment plan will make the four existing buildings more open to the outside, and it will create more outdoor seating and access. Existing businesses will remain, but 40,000 square feet of retail will be added. Retail spaces will range from 1,000 to 12,000 square feet.
