People looking for work in retail or who want to advance their careers are invited to attend free two-hour August workshops in Tukwila.
The training courses are being offered by Port Jobs including the Center for Onboarding and Advancement in Retail (COAR). The workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Sullivan Center at Tukwila Village, 14350 Tukwila International Boulevard.
The course list is:
- August 7: Retail Career Readiness
- August 14: Retail Technology Tools for Success
- August 21: Customer Service
- August 28: Retail Career Advancement
COAR is one of three programs across the nation to build an industry partnership to promote job skills and career advancement. It is profiling career opportunities at Westfield Southcenter mall and provides training for people interested in retail careers.
