A telephone headset can help avoid injuries
Today’s office environment often finds us on the phone every day. It may not seem like a big deal now, but as aging takes place, there is a loss of flexibility in the neck, shoulder and upper back region. Using a regular telephone handset with your shoulder hunched up and neck kinked over all day can, over time, lead to strains, headaches and soreness.
Using the handset for quick intermittent calls is fine, but if you are on the phone a lot, a way to assist with that is with a ‘hands-free’ headset that will allow you to retain a more normal posture while taking care of customers.
Headsets come in a variety of styles and are wired or wireless. These headsets will also allow for volume adjustment when needed. With this increase of comfort, employees can be more productive no matter their age
