Lowe’s has learned to respond to its customers’ needs during the pandemic, adapting as needed while the meaning of “home” was redefined. The result has been an exponential growth with revenue in 2021 of $95 billion, up 33% in comparable growth on a two-year basis. Lowe’s has hired almost 100,000 new team members and invested nearly $1 billion in incremental bonuses and incentives for its frontline workers.
Lowe’s next effort is towards the “total home” strategy, whereas they will strive to provide everything a customer might need for the home, from pots and pans, materials for a remodel, or fresh linens.
To celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2021, Lowe’s completed 100 impact projects in communities across the US.
