The Washington Retail Association partners closely with our state chambers of commerce as they work to create vibrant, inclusive communities that support community development efforts, policies, and strategies for growing a strong business environment across Washington State. The support local businesses receive from their local chambers of commerce is integral to representation in their communities, and that support begins with dedicated leadership.

Congratulations to Andrea Reay, who was previously president and CEO of the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and has been selected to replace Tom Pierson as chamber President and CEO of the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber. Reay will begin her tenure with the chamber in May. Pierson announced his retirement last fall.

Congratulations to Steve Wilkinson, who was hired as the new Executive Director for the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce. Before returning to Washington State, Steve was the Executive Director for the South-Central Kansas Economic Development District, including the Wichita Metropolitan area.
