The Washington Retail Association (WR) is pleased to partner with the Association of Washington Business, Washington Beverage Association, and Washington Hospitality Association to co-host a virtual business briefing on the potential tax issues expected to be considered during the 2027 legislative session.
The webinar, titled 2027 Tax Threats & the Legislative Outlook: A Business Community Briefing, will be held at 11 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Aug. 25. The event will provide an overview of potential tax proposals that could emerge as lawmakers work to address the state’s projected budget shortfall. Presenters will discuss what those proposals could mean for employers and how the business community can engage as the legislative session approaches.
The briefing will also feature State Representative April Berg (D 44), who will share insights on Washington’s fiscal outlook and expectations for the 2027 legislative session.
